I love chocolate! I admit even though I eat primarily sugar free these days I do still have a sweet tooth for chocolate, anything dark! Yes please.
Here is a super quick chocolate turtles recipe that can be tweaked to fit your taste buds. I like to call these fat bombs because that is what they are, little fat bombs that provide the perfect satiating snack and curb that sweet tooth. Great if your on a keto diet or just wanting to limit your sugar intake.
I always get creative when I cook so feel free to do the same. The basic ingredients have been listed below. These are cream, chocolate and binders but the rest are easily versatile to your taste. Feel free to switch the nuts to your liking, omit the cinnamon, or even replace the stevia with a different sweetener. Just make sure you have binders like nuts and coconut to hold it all together and don’t over heat which will burn the cream.
heated in order and whisking constantly
Place tbsp size on parchment paper and pop in freezer for 15 minutes or until hardened. Transfer to Ziploc or freezer container for storage. YUM!
